ZAMBEEF Products board chairperson Jacob Mwanza has said another firm’s founder, Carl Irwin has once again joined Francis Grogan as joint chief executive officer of the agribusiness giant.
Mr Mwanza expressed confident that Zambeef Products founders would further strengthen its senior management team and drive the group to new heights.
One of Zambia’s most enduring and successful business partnerships was reaffirmed this week with the announcement that the founders of Zambeef Products would once again become joint heads of the company.
According to an announcement released on the London and Lusaka Stock Exchanges yesterday, Carl Irwin would join Francis Grogan as joint chief executive officer of the agribusiness giant with immediate effect.
“We look forward to working together to continue driving the business forward over the coming years,” said the two directors.
Mr Grogan will continue to be responsible for the operational aspects of the business, while Mr Irwin will oversee the finance and administration aspects of the group.
The two were joint managing directors of the company from its inception 20 years ago until December 2008, when Mr Irwin moved to the position of director of strategy and development.
“I am confident that Mr Irwin will further strengthen our senior management team and together with Mr Grogan will help drive the group to new heights in the coming years,” said Dr Mwanza.
