BigBrother HotShots 300x174By SAM PHIRI –

FINALLY, producers of the highly anticipated Big Brother Africa Hotshots, Endemol and M-net, have announced that the show kicks off October 5, 2014 on Sunday.
The confirmation of the new date comes barely a week after the producers announced that an alternative venue had been found in Johannesburg and that the show was set for October without specifying the date.
However, during the launch of the new Box Office at Lusaka’s Radisson Blu Hotel, MultiChoice Zambia announced that the October 5, was finally set for the ninth season Big Brother launch.
Big Brother has delayed for about a month from the initial set date of September 7.
According to M-Net, it was not easy to find an alternative venue as they had to consider a multitude of factors that included the complex technical requirements, logistics, technical crews and satellite link facilities.
M-Net is delighted to assure all its Big Brother fans that their favourite reality show will launch without fail at exactly 19:00 hours on Sunday October 5.
MultiChoice Zambia Public Relations Manager Mwiika Malindima says he is happy that the show is finally on.
He says this a packaged season of the DStv as subscribers are guaranteed of quality entertainment up to the festive season.
“Big Brother is a hugely demanded for and followed programme that we could not have managed to lay off. Yes the fire was a dampener but we are happy that we are back on track for our loyal subscribers,” he says.
With the launch of Big Brother, Mwika says there is no doubt that MultiChoice will successfully deal with the boredom of its subscribers with HOTSHOTS!
