Mulenga also won a silver medal in the boy’s doubles when he partnered with Andrew Mumba.
Mumba said in a separate interview that he promising to lift the Zambian flag higher in coming tournaments.
Meanwhile under 15 coach Ngosa Chongo said the performance of the budding stars was overwhelming.
”I was very impressed with the performance of these boys who bagged medals because it was their first international tournament,” he said.
He said Zambia had talent and there is need for the players to gain exposure.
“These boys are very talented they just need more exposure and I am positive if they remain focused they will mint medals at the All Africa Schools,” Chongo said.
