Dr Seneadza’s absence at the eye ward in Kitwe, has been considerably felt and because of this; I wish to register my total dismay over the inertia by the Ministry of Health for not investigating thoroughly as to what so far has led to the sudden resignation of the head of the eye wing of Kitwe Central Hospital.
The general public has diverse eye diseases of which he used to treat without difficulties. Therefore the powers that be should worry that unlike Politicians; the grassroots have no access to the outside world.
At the moment, there is no one qualified enough to repair such eye designated modern machines.
Therefore, I urge the Ministry of Health to act swiftly to avert the looming catastrophe,

Re-open Chibuluma-Chibote Police Post

With the increase of the population in Chibuluma and Chibote due to the allocation of residential plots, there is need for relevant authorities to seriously consider reopening the Chibuluma-Chibote Police Post.
The township which has a clinic operating 24 hours,  needs security to protect the nurses and get rid of the increasing number of crime activities in the township.
I am optimistic that the hardworking Inspector General of Police, Stella Libongani, district authorities and the entire leadership in Chibuluma, will take a serious look into the proposal.

We need our money

This letter serves to inform the nation that as farmers here in Masaiti, we are tired of going to Investrust Bank for our money.
It is true the money is in the bank as the Agriculture minister states but the problem is that the ministry staff in Ndola does not want to take the necessary papers to the bank for us to access our money. We are told money is already in the bank but receipts are not brought for farmers to be paid.
We involved the Masaiti DC who went and presented our problem but no fruits are bearing. We are also informed that the Food Reserve Agency Director Chola Kafwabulula was at the bank but again nothing has happened. Now who can help us?
I personally delivered my maize on July 17, 2014 and up to now, I am not paid. I have been to the bank several times. Please help us here in Masaiti.
