Born August 6, 1995, Chipasha Mulenga is a young, gifted and multi-talented artiste involved in event organising and planning. His other gifts include rapping, graphic designing, writing, motivating and career counselling.
The up and coming Ndola-based entertainer also launched his music career in 2012 while in his final high school year at Chifubu Scondary School in Ndola.
Chipasha says he started his music career after getting inspired by the likes of American artistes Tupac Shucker (2Pac), 50 Cent, Plies and Zambia’s very own Macky2.
Chipasha who goes by the stage name Fresh Chippa, has so far organised successful events with renowned artites such as Macky2, Cheff 187, Bobby East and ZoneFam.
He is the founder of ‘Hustlers’ Ambition’, a youth group organising hip-hop functions.
“My aim is to become the best Zambian promoter for both existing and upcoming artistes,” Fresh Chippa says.
Chipasha added that he was joined by a friend, David Phiri, last year in the quest to organise hip-hop events.
According to Fresh Chppa, David Phiri has been very supportive in both the duo’s work and friendship.
Unlike other parents who condemn their children’s involvement in entertainment circles, Chipasha’s dad Chris Mulenga has been inspiring and encouraging. His mum Joyce has also been instrumental in keeping her son’s career flame burning.
“Hustlers’ Ambition intends to host an international artiste here in Zambia one day. We want to prove to our fellow youth that there is no age limit in pursuing one’s dream.
“In whatever you are doing, never lose hope. For as long as you have confidence, determination and discipline, some day your dream will be realised,” Fresh Chippa said.
Fresh Chippa says his dream is to see Hustlers’ Ambition become a household name that will set up an audio, photo and a graphic studio some day.
“Life is about transforming your passion into your profession,” he said.
