Power 2 Zesco 1
POWER Dynamos yesterday beat Zesco United in Kitwe to end their three-match winless run and also cut the gap with the latter to just two points after the MTN-FAZ Premier League Week 21 matches.
Zanaco drew 1-all with Roan United but still maintained top slot on 44 points, two ahead of Zesco while Power moved to 40 points.
Kobe Chipeta scored from an acute angle in the 29th minute just eight minutes after replacing an injured Kennedy Mudenda to also record his debut goal for Power since joining them this season from Lime Hotspurs.
Power’s lead lasted just two minutes after Jackson Mwanza equalised to see the two sides go 1-all into the break.
Striker Lottie Phiri scored the winner in the 65th minute to end Zesco’s seven-game unbeaten run having not tasted defeat since June 29 when they lost 1-nil away to Kabwe Warriors.
Roan United 1 Zanaco 1
Ten-man Roan United denied Zanaco a win a week after the latter lost 2-1 to Nkana when they drew at Nkana Stadium in Kitwe. Arthur Kaseloki put Roan ahead in the 24th minute before Moses Phiri earned Zanaco a point via a spot kick in the 31st minute.
Roan were reduced to 10 men in the 79th minute when Rogers Kamwandi was red carded by Lusaka based referee Chiwoyu Sinyangwe.
Napsa 1 Warriors 1
From Sunset Stadium, Napsa Stars came from behind to salvage a point against Kabwe Warriors but missed the chance to close up on the leading pack, reports SANDRA MWILA.
Josphat Kasusu gave Warriors the lead in the 46th minute after unleashing past Napsa goalkeeper Scot Ngonkene after connecting a nice pass from Lameck Kafwaya but Jean Paul Sato levelled matters in the 57th minute to move his side up to 38 points while the Kabwe side is on 26 points.

At Edwin Imboela Stadium, SHAMAOMA MUSONDA reports that  Zambia Under-17 striker Patson Daka made the difference in this match as he handed his troubled side ‘Brave’ Nchanga Rangers a vital win.
A 28th minute strike was all that was needed for Rangers to take away all three points having failed to win in the last five matches and moved to 26 points, one above a stuttering National Assembly, who now just have one win in six games.

GREEN Eagles ended Konkola Mine Police four-match unbeaten run thanks to goals by striker Linekar Mwikisa, on loan from Green Buffaloes, and Chansa Katongo as the home side moved up to 24 points while the Chililabombwe side remains in the relegation waters on 17 points.

Red Arrows were still left searching for their first win in 11 matches after recording a third successive draw since the appointment of Mathews Mwale and his assistant Albert Kachinga following eight straight draws that saw the firing of Oswald Mutapa.
The draw saw Buffaloes going up to 23 points while Arrows have now got 20 points to be heavily involved in the relegation battles.

Konkola Blades beat Indeni 1-0 at Konkola Stadium in Chililabombwe to end their five-match losing streak. Humphrey Maseneko scored the games’ lone goal in the 70th minute to hand Blades its first win since June 6 when they beat Red Arrows 2-1 away in Lusaka.
