ONE of Zambia’s top female gospel music ace, Karen is tonight  set to launch her latest project entitled Another level at the Bread of Life church in Lusaka.
Undoubtedly one of the finest gospel music talents, Karen whose real names are Chileya Kandongo is credited for perfecting soothing tracks such as enough and who can say.
Now, what might just add icing on the cake of this seemingly highly anticipated launch is the release on the market a special package of all her hit songs that she has translated into Swahili.
“This is launch of my Another Level album and my East African project in which I have changed all my hit songs into Swahili and it is an album now,” She says.
Various gospel artistes in the likes of Suwilanji, Kings Mumbi, Magg 44, USA based gospel minister and singer Rev Fortune Nyondo, the
Northmead Mega choir have been lined up to give support  in music to Karen.
In an interview with DStv entertainment, Karen says her album which was released on the market in December last year is a product of prayer hard work, observing the many situations of her life and the different people she comes across.
“What prompted me to compose another level is how sometimes a Christian will remain  on one level, doing the usual routines and hence reach a point  where you sit down and say, God  thank you for this opportunity, but father I need you to take me to another level”, she explains.
“To people whose lives are touched by my music, it is an encouragement that my gift from God is indeed benefiting the kingdom of God”, she adds.
The 2014 Zambia music awards (ZMA) best female gospel artiste winner encourages talented upcoming gospel singers to concentrate on the work of God adding that they should be prayerful.
She further adds that gospel artistes should develop humility, patience and a personal relationship with God in order to reach out to the masses through music.
The album has nine tracks that includes numbers such as Wont stop me, Another Level, Kunkala na Yesu , dance , Ziibaleko and Na ma choice .
Tickets to the double album launch which is being sponsored by ZAMTEL can be purchased at Sounds investments, Mellisa supermarkets, Bread of life church International, among other places.
Attendees who will go to the gig whose tickets are pegged at K30 for ordinary and K100 VIP will receive free airtime courtesy of ZAMTEL.
