ZAMBIA striker, Jacob Mulenga has completed a long-term move to Turkish club, Adana Demirspor.
Mulenga said in an interview from Turkey on Wednesday night that he had signed a three-year deal with the Turkish second division team.
“After having offers from La Liga (Spain), England, France and the USA, I decided to come and embark on a new project that suited to what I was looking for,” Mulenga said.
“So I am blessed to be offered a very good opportunity to play for Adana Demirspor.”
Mulenga joins Adana Demirspor as a free agent after five seasons at Dutch club, FC Utrecht.
Turkey is Mulenga’s fourth stop since arriving in Europe in 2004 with French Ligue 2 club, Chateauroux whom he joined from Afrisports when the club was still campaigning in FAZ Division One North.
Mulenga also had a spell at French club Strasbourg in the 2007/2008 season before Chateauroux sold him to Utrecht two seasons later.
