RWANDA’s Ambassadors of Christ Church Choir is planning to stage a live musical performance in Livingstone next month.
According to organisers both in Lusaka and Livingstone, the renowned singers are expected stage their performance at Livingstone Golf Club on August 5, 2014 from 17: 30 hours to 21:30 hours.
The Choir would also stage similar musical performances at Government Complex in Lusaka on August 2, this year as well as at Nkana Stadium in Kitwe on August 3 and Blessing Centre in Lusaka on August 4 this year.
On November 30, 2013, the choir staged a remarkable and spiritually reviving performance at Blessing Centre in Lusaka’s Emmasdale Township.
Clad in Rwandese traditional outfits and established in 1995, the immaculate gospel singers sung more than 20 songs while close to 5,000 members of the audience responded through cheering gestures.
Applauding and ululating characterised the audience especially among the youths as the visiting choir performed various gospel songs from
19:00 hours to 23 hours.
The Choir, which comes from Remera Seventh-Day Adventist Church (SDA) Church in Kigali, staged three gospel music shows at Lusaka’s Blessing Centre as well as Government Complex and Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.
They were invited to Zambia by Lusaka’s Libala SDA Church to help in promoting the construction of its modern Church at a total cost of about K12 million.
