POWER Dynamos have listed Alex Ng’onga as being away without official leave in South Africa where he attending trials and have reported the matter to the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ).
Ng’onga left Power last week for South Africa to attend trials at PSL club Mpumalanga Black Aces.
Power secretary Ricky Mamfunda said in an interview that the club was in the dark about the Ngonga’s trials at Black Aces.
“I believe he left on July 9 but he has gone AWOL and I have notified the Football Association of Zambia,” Mamfunda said.
Ng’onga has so far scored five goals in fifteen matches this season for Power and is one behind the clubs current leading marksman Jimmy Ndhlovu.
Black Aces already have one Zambian on their books in striker Collins Mbesuma who joined them last week on a two year deal following his release by Orlando Pirates.
Meanwhile, Chipolopolo defender Francis Kasonde says he is considering a move away from Israel due to the security situation in that country.
Kasonde has refuted reports that he attended trials with South African club Mpumalanga Black Aces adding that he was still contracted to Israeli club Hapoel Ra’anana.
“I am still contracted with Ra’anana but would like to move away from Israel due to the security situation there. But regarding Black Aces, I only met the club chairperson in Johannesburg over a week ago where we held talks.
“But I told them I could not attend trials because I did not get any permission from my club because I still have a running contract with them for another one season. But I will talk to my club about the possibility of a transfer from there to South Africa,” Kasonde said.
Kasonde, who has been at Ra’anana for the last season after leaving TP Mazembe, also revealed that that he had received offers from North Africa and Asia.
