AWARD winning Nollywood film producer, director and actor Andy Boyo is
on Monday July 7, expected in the country with another array of
Award winning Nollywood actors to yet again Premiere another
blockbuster movie Cobra .
July 11, is the date!
One of the stars that fans would be looking forward to meet upon
arrival in Lusaka is the deep voiced veteran actor Alex
Usifo though the other two stars Frederick Leonard and Chinwe Isaac
are equally loved faces on the African entertainment screens.
But truth be told, Alex is likely to steal the limelight as many
Zambian enthusiasts are so familiar with his face more especially that
he made one of the main casts in the recently premiered movie Off the
Hook which also stared Ghana’s celebrated Jackie Apiah and Prince
David Osai.
Now, through what Andy Boyo was able to deliver in  Off the Hook
premiere, there is no doubt that many would really want to come and see
yet another mind-blowing Andy Boyo offering in Cobra.
The seemingly interesting and captivating story of Cobra sees Princess
Hilda and her husband pay a ransom in gold coins worth US$1 million used
for the release of their kidnapped daughter by chief Ashonowo and his
cohort.
To have a swift and affective operation the Crime ring
employs Cobra for the collection of the ransom.
Chief Ashonowo being
a shroud criminal lord received the ransom thereafter shots Cobra. On
Cobra’s release from jail, he swears to have his revenge on chief
Ashonowo.
This is the action that would surely be missed by ones choice as it is
so convincingly an interesting piece, more especially that it is
passing through the seasoned hands of Andy Boyo who has  vast
experience of telling an African story.
