CITY of Lusaka coach Christopher ‘Gazza’ Tembo has left the Woodlands club after just 12 games in charge.
Tembo said in an interview yesterday that he was heading back to Swaziland where he has been offered a long-term deal by Manzini Sundowns.
“I am going to Swaziland where Sundowns have offered me a one year contract,” Tembo said.
Tembo has overseen City’s recent revival during the twelve games he has been at Woodlands Stadium in which they were unbeaten with five wins and seven draws.
He leaves City in sixth place on 25 points, eleven points behind leaders Lusaka Dynamos at the halfway point of the season from seventeen matches played.
This will be Tembo’s second stint in Swaziland after his previous one in January with Mbabane Swallows.
