By KAIKO NAMUSA-
OPPOSITION National Revolution Party (NRP) leader, Cosmo Mumba has labelled opposition leaders wishing President Michael Sata ill-health as evil people.
Dr Mumba said  there was no need for speculation on the whereabouts of President Sata as Government had already stated that the Head of State was on a working visit to Israel.
Dr Mumba said  he was in touch with President Sata who was in Israel and that he was in good health and there was no need for worry.
“I wish to state that being a close friend to President Sata, I am in constant touch with him and he is in good health and there is no need for panic and speculation. Those opposition leaders that are wishing our President ill are Satanists,” Dr Mumba said.
He said Zambia was intact and that there was no need for even the investor community to worry and believe what the opposition was saying.
“We should pray for each other and not wish death of another person, especially in this case, the Head of State, if someone wants to be Republican President, it is not good to wish the incumbent to die,” he said.
Meanwhile, Dr Mumba has said opposition United Party for National Development (UPND) leader, Hakainde Hichilema should not use the Barotseland Agreement to win political mileage in Western Province but focus on issue-based campaigns.
He said the Agreement was recipe for division and should be handled carefully.
He called on surviving members of the first Cabinet under the leadership of Kenneth Kaunda to form an advisory board to offer counsel on the matter.
“Restoring the Barotseland Agreement is divisive to the country and is a recipe for anarchy in the country, hence it can only be addressed adequately if members of the first Cabinet could form an advisory board and provide direction on this matter,” he said.
