WHICH normal male parent would subject his children to witnessing his sexual act with a girlfriend?
Which parent would even dare undress and invite his children to watch as he performs adulterous acts with his girlfriend? A crazy one, of course.
In a Lusaka local court, stood a 25-year-old man of Helen Kaunda Township sued by his estranged wife for this kind of abhorrent act.
The man was said to have been having having intercourse with his girlfriend in the presence of his children.
As if his justification would make any sense, he said he was doing that as a way of teaching his children how they would go about performing such acts themselves once they grew up.
The minors who could not stand their father’s misconduct with his concubine decided to complain to their biological mother against the spectacles they had been subjected to for a long time.
Such are sex perverts, sex maniacs whose behaviour could be ‘contagious’ to levels where they would corrupt young minds.
It is as a result of such behaviour that cases of defilement, rape and unnatural acts tend to alarmingly pollute society.
Like the Lusaka local court, we condemn the bizarre behaviour of this man and that he should have been given a stiffer punishment than a mere warning he received.
For the children to have complained, the sexual antics they witnessed their father perform must have affected their minds.
Their thinking must have been impaired, and will struggle to obliterate such scenes from the minds.
If indecent exposure attracts stiffer punishments from the courts of law, surely that parent needed to have received the share of his folly.
As the situation stands, those children will require counselling for them to clean their minds of those memories.
That indeed was a wrong exposure for the minors and attracts express disapproval in the strongest terms.
