AS a country Zambia, as Africa and as a world, we have lost one of the gallant men in the name of Dennis Liwewe.
The soccer fraternities in Zambia and indeed in Africa are mourning with the family of Dennis Liwewe who is a true hero and his contribution to soccer will live forever.
I remember during his time as a commentator, it was always wonderful to listen to his voice even if you were watching the game on Television.
Even soccer fans that were following games on radio used to feel as if they were in the stadium watching live.
He had the rare ability to estimate the distance from the location of the ball to the goal posts during matches.
I think there are many people out there who can continue from where Liwewe left.
As we remember Liwewe we can only wish the soul of our departed hero to rest in peace.
Let us name one of the wings at the newly build Heroes stadium after Liwewe.
