AT the time  the nation is celebrating Zambia’s First President Kenneth Kaunda’s 90th Birthday which falls on April 28, the long arm of death has robbed us of irreplaceable and knowledgeable football commentator Dennis Liwewe.
Zambian Football will never be the same without Liwewe whether we like it or not. It is however, gratifying that Liwewe was honored during the UNIP Government for his contribution to the development of soccer in the country.
This is a lesson to all of us to ensure that we do our part, while alive and to those with chance to honour certain outstanding individuals to do so before departing from mother earth. I am suggesting that one of the wings at the Heroes stadium be named after
Liwewe. Goodbye grandfather! Good bye dad! Rest in peace.
