STRIKER James Chamanga has said he is excited to have bounced back from his long injury layoff with a hat trick to inspire his Chinese club Liaoning Whowin to victory at the weekend.
The Chipolopolo striker fired-in three goals in Liaoning 3-nil home win over Harbin Yiteng on Saturday.
Chamanga’s hat trick comes just two games after his return to club action following his recent return to action from a four-month layoff due to a left knee injury.
The striker said in an interview from his base in China that the goals have motivated him to work harder.
“I just want to thank God now that my legs are OK after four months out since last year. It has been difficult but now I have to work very hard because my pre-season was not so good but again God will help me,” Chamanga said.
Chamanga hit the target in the 27th minute and in the 48th minute from the penalty spot before completing his hat trick in the 70th minute.
The win over bottom placed Harbin Yiteng was also Liaoning first of the season after five games played who now have five points and are fourth from last in 13th place.
