NOWADAYS, there are a lot of unmarried couples that are staying together (cohabiting).
I strongly feel this practice has got a lot of shortcomings which include the conflicts that arise when there is a break-up.
Since this arrangement does not have protection financially and in most cases you find that the couple was buying property together and when they are separating, conflicts arise.
Studies have shown that in such couples, women are substantially worse off economically than men.
Therefore, to avoid such problems, let us avoid cohabiting and just follow the normal procedure if we want to marry.
Avoid marriages of convenience, where people are trying to avoid life time commitments.
Meanwhile, why is it becoming common for many young girls to have babies before marriage? Sensitisation is needed because we are destroying the future Zambia.
Does it mean parents and guardians no longer have time for their children?
The girls of nowadays do not reject love proposals from the opposite sex, worse still, accept to have sex the same day with that person. This is shameful and it should come to an end.
Meanwhile, the  man who assaulted his girlfriend (Niza)must be jailed. You do not resort to beating your friend, especially that he was just suspecting or imagining things that never existed. Say no to gender-based-violence!
