THE federal reserve bank decided to lower liquidity flows on the international Forex market and this has gained the dollar’s financial and purchasing power.
This has not spared our Kwacha in the process.
Then there is an influx of sales goods which are coming from outside and very likely will result in price ups on all commodity goods.
The only challenge is for the Government to increase local industry.
On agriculture, let’s create State farms beginning with this new budget so that we create more income for ordinary Zambians.
Most neighbouring countries have a waiting stock market for our maize grain.
We can earn a lot foreign exchange in our reserve bank and make gains on our Kwacha.
There are no jobs in Zambia so a lot are relying on cheap imported goods and ending up dumping them in our country.
If we can create an of enabling environment for our people to buy and sell, or even export goods, we make our currency strong.
Impossible to a negative mind; to a blind critic and to a brief case theoretical economist.
But not to an innovative mind!
