PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema has declared today a day of national mourning in honour of late Pope Francis, who died at the Vatican on Easter Monday aged 88.
And during a Pontifical Holy Mass for the repose of Pope Francis’s soul at the Cathedral of the Child Jesus in Lusaka yesterday, Mr Hichilema urged the Church to emulate Pope Francis, describing him as a beacon of peace for the world.
