Zambia in K1.1bn trade surplus…as it posts 2.5p.c growth rate

ZAMBIA recorded a trade surplus of K1.1 billion in November 2024 as compared to the deficit of K3.1 billion posted in October 2024, according to the Zambia Statistics Agency (Zamstats).
Acting statistician general Sheila Mudenda said the exports mainly comprising domestically-produced goods, increased by 23.2 per cent from K25.6 billion in October 2024 to K31.5 billion in November 2024.
