Zambia’s trade up to K412bn!

ZAMBIA’S total international cumulative trade has hit K412.8 billion, an increase of 37.2 percent from last year.
The figure was recorded between January and September 2024 compared to K300.7 billion in 2023.
The Zambia Statistics Agency (ZAMSTAT) also recorded a marginal increase in the annual inflation for October this year, of 15.7 percent from 15.6 percent for September.
ZAMSTAT acting Statistician General Sheila Mudenda said during the monthly bulletin disseminations that the K112.1 billion increase representing 37.2 percent compared to that of 2023 in cumulative total trade up to September 2024 was recorded.
