THE Lusaka High Court has dismissed a petition in which Petauke Central Member of Parliament (MP) Emmanuel Banda had sued two State House aides and a United Party for National Development (UPND) national youth chairperson for allegedly abducting him for lack of prosecution.
Lusaka High Court Judge Mwape Bowa dismissed the case in his ruling because there was again, no prosecution of the matter which was recently restored to active cause of list after Banda failed to prosecute the case for the second time.
Banda, popularly known as Jay Jay, had sued Attorney General Mulilo Kabesha, President Hakainde Hichilema’s political advisor Levy Ngoma, Communications Specialist at State House Clayson Hamasaka and UPND deputy national youth chairperson Trevor Mwiinde accusing them of having abducted him.
