PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema has reiterated the New Dawn government’s stand not to interfere in the operations of the media and freedom of expression and justice.
The president also disclosed that Cabinet has approved the repeal and replacement of the ZNBC and IBA Acts to bring them in line with contemporary dictates of how a public broadcaster should operate.
The President, however, urged the media to adhere to professionalism and ethics by, among other things, desisting from contradicting messages, disinformation and conflicting interpretations of events.
