Saudi Arabia eyes investment opportunities in Zambia

SAUDI Arabia says it is ready to invest and forge a long-term sustainable partnership with Zambia for the mutual benefit of both countries.
Visiting Saudi Arabian vice-minister of Mineral Resources Abdulrahman Albalushi said his country was seeking to learn from Zambia’s mining sector as it embarked on diversifying its economy from oil and gas.
He said Saudi Arabia had taken mining as a major cornerstone of its Vision 2030, together with agriculture, tourism and entertainment, among other sectors.
