PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema yesterday officially launched the US$500 million Barack Lumwana mine super pit project with an estimated 4,500 Zambian jobs in the offing.
The commissioning of the mine yet again sets a giant step towards the attainment of the three million tonnes output of copper per annum envisioned by the head of state.
President Hichilema said Government was delighted to learn that the revised mining policies continue to attract more investment in the mining sector.
