State acts to curb Illicit Financial Flows

THE Government has partnered with various stakeholders to strengthen the transparency framework on beneficial ownership in Zambia to curb the increase in Illicit Financial Flows (IFFs).
Patents and Companies Registration Agency (PACRA), International Monetary Fund (IMF) and USAID yesterday held a critical multi-stakeholder workshop to enhance beneficial ownership transparency.
Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Industry Permanent Secretary, Lillian Bwalya said the effort was critical to building a robust and fair business environment in the country.
