INFORMATION and Media Minister Cornelius Mweetwa has dismissed claims by Patriots for Economic Progress (PeP) leader Sean Tembo that the ruling United Party for National Development (UPND) is responsible for divisions in the United Kwacha Alliance (UKA).
Mr Mweetwa maintained that the UPND knew that UKA was a Patriotic Front (PF), reincarnation and nothing good would come out of it.
UKA had in recent weeks faced a number of setbacks with some of its members leaving the alliance accusing the founder members of being sponsored by the ruling party because they refused to endorse former President Edgar Lungu as the presidential candidate for 2026.
