RUNNER Muzala Samukonga has described the just ended season as both emotional and fantastic.
The Paris 2024 Games bronze winner and reigning Commonwealth Games 400m champion said this in an interview after winding up the season with a bronze at the Diamond League finale in Belgium.
Samukonga expressed happiness to have finished the season strong despite failing to win the Diamond League finals in Brussels.
“I am proud of my performance this season and it can only be God. I’m not disappointed with finishing third. Such happens in Sport. I gave my everything but it could only take me that far. It was a tough race. I am happy to finish the season without an injury. It’s been an emotional and fantastic season for me, and I can only thank My God and everyone who believed in me,” Samukonga said.
