NATIONAL Pension and Scheme Authority (NAPSA) Director General Muyangwa Muyangwa says the authority is heading towards collecting about K9 billion contributions towards the scheme in 2024.
Mr Muyangwa said last year, the authority collected about K7 billion, and was this year heading towards hitting about K9 billion contributions towards the scheme.
He said in an interview with journalists that this would be achieved through the new jobs being added to the membership.
Mr Muyangwa said these jobs had been created through the reopening of Konkola Copper Mines (KCM) and Mopani Copper Mines (MCM), the construction of the Lusaka-Ndola dual carriageway and the construction of an additional 300 megawatts power plant at Maamba Collieries among others.
