VICE-PRESIDENT W.K Mutale-Nalumango has reiterated the Government’s commitment to provide quality and inclusive early childhood education (ECE) for all.
Ms Mutale-Nalumango said that the despite the efforts being put in place by the government, the current challenges confronting the education system were complex and multifaceted, requiring concerted efforts and collaboration across all sectors.
She said this in a speech read for her by Education Minister Douglas Syakalima during the launch of the early childhood educations cost of inaction report yesterday.
Ms Mutale-Nalumango said the report provided the Government with evidence-based information for decision making processes and policy development related to Zambia’s commitments to delivering quality ECE services to all children aged between three and six years.
