RONALD CHAWE –
Lusaka 12-24 Diggers
‘MEN-AT-WORK’ Diggers coach Mathews Kabeya says beating bitter rivals and remaining undefeated in the National Rugby League (NRL) gives good vibes as they moved to the top the table.
In an interview, Kabeya the team was focused and looking to win more games.
“We are unbeaten in the National Rugby League and it feels nice. It was a hard game against Lusaka but in the end, we had to get the results. Well done to the boys, they did very well and we are looking to the next coming games,” he said.
Kabeya said he would keep to his coaching arrangements than talking about referees.
Kabeya’s comment came after Lusaka coach Reuben Mkandawire had complained that the referee who officiated the game was a trainee.
