THREE teachers and 20 examination candidates have been arrested for malpractices relating to the Grade 12 General Certificate examinations in North- Western Province.
The three teachers were arrested for illegal possession of Grade 12 General Certificate of Education (GCE) examination materials while 20 learners were allegedly found with answers for Mathematics and Biology papers.
Police Public Relations Officer Rae Hamoonga said yesterday that the incident happened at Kasapa Secondary School in Solwezi.
Mr Hamoonga said on Thursday last week, St. Dorothy Police Station received a tip-off from a concerned member of the public regarding possible examination malpractice at the school.
