THE Zambia Airport Corporation Limited (ZACL) says the aviation industry has in the second quarter of 2024 continued to demonstrate strong recovery with the number of global passengers increasing.
ZACL Communications and Brand Manager, Mweembe Sikaulu said the raising numbers showed higher demand for both domestic and international air travels.
Ms Sikaulu said in a statement that the overall trend remained optimistic with strong demand for air transport to key business and tourist destinations around the country.
“In the quarter under review, ZACL served 569, 658 general passengers across its network of airports, representing a 15-per cent increase from the 494, 110 passengers recorded in second quarter of 2023,” she said.
