GOVERNMENT has made a clarion call to sport associations to establish sound talent identification and development strategies that will contribute to the effective selection of athletes for international competitions.
Speaking when he addressed the last batch of Team Zambia athletes who arrived yesterday from the just-ended Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Sports Minister Elvis Nkandu urged associations to introduce programmes and tap talent in all corners of the country.

In a speech read on his behalf by Permanent Secretary Kangwa Chileshe, Nkandu commended athletes for representing the country at the Olympics in France.
