By GEORGE SINKALA –
FORMER President Edgar Lungu is a propagandist who does not even believe in what he wants to stand for now, Chief Government Spokesperson Cornelius Mweetwa has charged.
Mr Mweetwa said in an interview yesterday that Mr Lungu did not have any moral right to talk about abrogation of human rights, against police brutality and violence, among other violations, as those were the order of the day when he was Zambia’s Sixth President.
Mr Mweetwa, who is also Information and Media Minister, said this in reaction to Mr Lungu’s statement where described the detention of Socialist Party (SP) president Fred M’membe in a case that was bondable as a gross violation of fundamental rights.
