VICE-PRESIDENT W.K Mutale-Nalumango has implored lawyers to be a beacon of hope and advocate for accountability, transparency and good governance.
Ms Mutale-Nalumango said governments in the region were looking forward to a period where the law served as a beacon of hope and justice for all and where legal professionals were supported in their vital work with the utmost integrity and efficiency.
She was speaking during the 2024 Southern African Development Community (SADC) Lawyers Association general meeting and conference in Livingstone yesterday.
