THE Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) has recorded a net revenue collection of K61.4 billion for the first half of 2024.
This represents a K13.4 billion increase from the collections recorded during the same period in 2023.
ZRA Commissioner General Dingani Banda (right) said that this collection was 29.7-per cent higher than the recorded collection in 2023 and 52.4-per cent higher than that of 2021 in the period under review.
Mr Banda said in a presentation during the 2024 mid-year performance review that all tax types except mining company tax, motor vehicle fees, carbon tax and fuel level were higher than the collections for 2023.
