THE Ndola High Court has acquitted a man of Kitwe who was accused of killing a Catholic priest in 2022 after grabbing his motor vehicle.
Danny Makina was set free after the court ruled that the State failed to provide sufficient evidence in the matter.
Makina, a business executive of Kapoto Township, was facing one count of murder and three counts of aggravated robbery.
On September 17, 2022 Makina was alleged to have murdered Catholic priest Deodatus Mbebe and grabbed his Toyota Collora valued about K40,000.
