State goes for Chimese’s property

THE State has cited various properties for forfeiture in a matter former Zambia Air Force Commander Eric Chimese is charged with corruption.
The properties were F/2303/Q Fourth Street Ibex Hill in Lusaka, which had nine fully furnished flats, a single storey building, a guest wing and a semi-detached cottage.
The State submitted that the properties did not belong to Chita Lodge Limited, but to Chimese.
Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC) deputy director Lillian Mubialelwa submitted that equally, subdivision of property F/181/C/1 on Mungwi Road in Lusaka West did not belong to Chimese’s brother, Hector Chimese as earlier claimed.
