Zambia to reap from Italy’s €4.4bn for climate change

ZAMBIA is one of the countries that will benefit from the €4.4 billion mobilised by the Italian government to fight climate change.
Speaking at the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Zambia and Italy on sustainable development, Italian ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Director General for Development Cooperation Stefano Gatti said Zambia had been chosen as one of the key partners.
Mr Gatti said he was in Zambia leading a 22 delegation of companies and civil society engaged in climate change issues.
