A SOMBER mood characterised the church service of late Chipolopolo striker Justin Shonga as multitudes gathered yesterday at the Arakan Chapel in Lusaka to pay their last respects.
The crowd comprised members of the football fraternity, Zambia Police Service and many others from different walks of life who gathered in Lusaka to pay their last respects to Shonga, whose body was flown to Chipata yesterday in readiness for burial today.
Shonga, 27, died at the Sikanze Police Camp Hospital on Sunday evening after a short illness and was given a befitting send-off amidst an outpouring of grief at the Arakan Chapel.
