CHILANGA Cement PLC has commissioned a US$20 million kiln upgrade project dubbed “Phoenix Project” to double Cement production at its Ndola plant.
The upgrade project will increase production from 500,000 to one million tonnes per annum.
Copperbelt Province Minister Elisha Matambo said investment in the Chilanga Cement expansion project was a testament to the conducive environment government was providing to thrive the economy.
