NEWLY-APPOINTED Justice Minister Princess Kasune says State advocates should desist from compromising their work by colluding and engaging in corruption, bribery, fraud and extortion to disadvantage Government’s interest.
Ms Kasune said it became a matter of grave concern to the Government because such vices undermined the collective efforts of striving for economic growth and development through effective service delivery to the people.
Speaking when she officially opened a workshop for State advocates in Lusaka yesterday, Ms Kasune said State advocates in mainstream Government, statutory bodies or parastatals were expected to perform their duties with integrity, distinction and impartiality.
