ZAMBIA and the World Bank Group have signed two grant agreements totaling US$257 million for energy development and girl child empowerment.
The first agreement is on the National Energy Advancement and Transformation (NEAT) programme, amounting to $100 million and the second phase of the Girls’ Education and Women’s Empowerment and Livelihoods (GEWEL) project amounting to $157 million.
