‘Stiffer laws against tribalism coming’

CABINET will stiffen laws against hate speech, divisive talk and tribalism in order to curb the spread of hatred and acrimony in society, President Hakainde Hichilema has said.
The President also issued a stern warning to cadres including those from the ruling party to desist from violence or face the full force of the law.
He said at a Press conference yesterday that Cabinet met on Tuesday and resolved to amend all laws to stiffen punishment to deter anyone who wanted to spew hatred and sow division in the country.
