AN information communication technology and energy solution company says the climate-induced power outage being experienced in the country and the hike in petroleum products are giving impetus for increased roll out of alternative energy solutions.
Sbeity Computers Limited which deals with an array of ICT and energy products also says since the announcement of load management earlier this year, 200 solar deals on the Copperbelt have been clinched.
Sales manager Shoyan Ali said in an interview at the just-ended Copperbelt Motor Show in Kitwe that the power cuts being experienced in the country due to low water levels caused by the prolonged dry spell has sparked a revolution in the renewable energy space.
