ZAMBIA and China have signed 21 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) valued at over US$1 billion in infrastructure development, mining, agriculture and energy as President Hakainde Hichilema called for more areas of cooperation.
The parties to the MoUs included the Zambia Development Agency (ZDA), Zesco Limited, Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Mines and Minerals Development, Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprise Development, CAMCO Equipment Zambia Limited, Ilute Solar Limited and SANY Group.
