FORMER president Edgar Lungu’s daughter Chiyeso has been ordered to surrender a house and three flats valued at K8 million to the State by the Economic and Financial Crimes Court (EFCC).
The property is believed to have been obtained using proceeds of crime.
Judge Ann Malata- Ononuju sitting with Judge Ian Mab olobolo and Judge Vincent Siloka said they were not satisfied that the money used to acquire or develop the properties was given to her by her parents as there was no evidence to prove Chiyeso’s claim.
Ms Justice Malata- Ononuju added that the court could not proceed to interrogate the source of the money from Mr Lungu.
