OMCAZ hails ERB for acting on Puma

THE OIL Marketing Companies Association of Zambia (OMCAZ) has welcomed the Energy Regulation Board (ERB) move to suspend Puma Central Service Station in Kabwe for alleged contamination of fuel.
OMCAZ president Kafula Mubanga notes that ERB has directed the immediate suspension of all retailing petroleum products at Puma Service Station pending investigations, following complaints from customers who had refueled from the service station between 21 and 22 February this year.
Dr Mubanga however observed a gap in data capturing by ERB and stated that the energy regulating board did not need a report from end users to depict such occurrences.
